Have Fun in the Process

Do you have something to look forward to every single day? 

If not, start right now - today. 

We can find pleasure, fun, and joy everywhere we look. 

And adding things we enjoy, on purpose, is the very best kind of self-care. 

It’s a gift we give ourselves every day. 

What could you add to your life that you’d really look forward to? Here are a few ideas: 

 

 

- read a fabulous book

- hike at dawn (one of my personal favorites!)

- play with your dog

- play with your kids

- play with your spouse

- go to an uplifting movie

- take a long bath

- go to a museum

- eat your favorite fresh fruit

- write in your journal

- give yourself a pedicure (or have someone else give you one!)

- watch the sunset

- use your best dishes and crystal for breakfast

- call a wonderful friend

- write a letter

 


Anything that makes you smile and brings you joy – that’s it! 

Now make your own list. 

Pamper yourself every day – treat yourself like you’re the special person you are. 

Have at least one thing to look forward to each day. Repeat daily for the rest of your life.
