Hi! My name is Sue Rasmussen and I'm a professional business coach.

When I started my coaching practice almost 20 years ago, I had no idea how to do it.

I didn't know how to market my services, I was terrified to talk about what I offered, and I was definitely scared to charge money for my services.

I also felt like a complete fraud. Who was I to work with clients? Did I know enough? Was it possible that could I actually help them? 

So I decided to learn how to become an effective coach and build a successful business.

I read hundreds of books, took class after class, and went to conferences all over the country, and implemented what I learned. 

In the process of learning how to build my own practice, I discovered that I love working with solo service practitioners like coaches, consultants, and service professionals. I've worked with over 6,000 people to grow their business. 

I'm also deeply passionate about Splankna. 

Once I took my Splankna Advanced training, Sarah Thiessen and I started talking about what was next for trainees... and as a result, decided it was time to offer the next step for Advanced Practitioners who would like to start a Splankna Practice, that will walk them through the process of getting a practice established and rolling.

The 8-module Splankna Launch Pad program is designed to be much more than simply learning these concepts... you will be building your business week by week, one step at a time. We'll set up goals for your time in the program; for example, earning your program investment back as quickly as possible and getting your Splankna certification. 


module 1: Fall in love with saving

This most important first module is focused on establishing Holy Spirit as the foundation of everything in your business, as well as identifying your "what" and "why" in order to deeply connect with your underlying motivation for sharing Splankna with clients. We'll also clarify who you feel called to serve and what issues or challenges you are passionate about. 

You'll step right into action by offering Splankna sessions to other practitioners or family members, and we'll do creative homework and healing work on any blocks that come up. If you aren't yet Splankna certified, each week you'll be working toward your certification hours and supervisions.  


module 2: eliminate debt forever

Have you ever noticed how your attitude or approach directly affects the outcome of conversations? In this module, we'll focus on shifting your mindset from uncertainty to authority, and dramatically improve your confidence talking about Splankna. This is often one of the most challenging things for most people as they build their practice, so we're going to handle it right away. We'll use Splankna to move through any fear or discomfort, so you can quickly get to the other side and feel confident and excited to talk about this work. 

This week, you'll continue to offer Splankna sessions and get plenty of practice stepping up in authority, talking about Splankna.


module 3: create breathing room

When I started my practice, I learned the hard way that without solid boundaries, policies, and structures, I quickly became exhausted, overworked, and resentful as a practitioner. Plus, when strong boundaries aren't in place, the results your clients get aren't nearly as powerful, either. So we're going to handle that up front: how to set up your session policies and boundaries, how to handle missed sessions, what to do when people show up late, how to make sure your sessions don't go over their time, what to have available for your sessions, and which forms and tools to use. 

You'll customize what you learn to create your own written policies and boundaries, continue offering Splankna sessions, do creative homework, and do healing work for any blocks that come up.


MODULE 4: invest in your future

Yes, you are ready to start charging for your services (if you haven't already). The money topic tends to bring up plenty of fear/doubt/guilt, so in this module we'll focus on getting comfortable charging for your services. We'll talk about different ways to package and price your services, how to talk about money with clients, and how to take payments. 

You'll start charging for your services this week. We want to move you through any discomfort about money as quickly and easily as possible, and diving right in is the best way to do it. 


module 5: reduce your risk

This week, we'll talk about setting up your Splankna business: the kinds of liability insurance available, the different options to consider for office space (and what to do if you don't have a set office space), setting up a DBA and business checking account, and how to decide when/if to invest in what you need. 

You'll step into action by setting up the basics in your business, with a plan for what's next. You'll continue offering Splankna sessions, as well as using creative homework and healing work as needed.  


module 6: maximize your freedom

Marketing simply means getting in front of the people you are called to serve, whether you're in person, online, or via advertising. There are many ways to get in front of people, and the most effective ways of getting clients will be the ways that feel comfortable to you. We'll go through the spectrum of marketing activities related to time, any investment needed, and your own gifts/skills/interests, as well as which ones tend to be the most effective. 

This week, you'll choose one activity designed to reach the people you're called to serve and take action on that activity. 


module 7: build wealth and give

This module is about having even more structured, stronger sales conversations. You'll learn how to be more strategic in your conversations with potential clients, so that you can quickly get to the heart of what's going on and help them get clarity so they know whether working with you is the next best step. 

You'll have plenty of opportunity to role play and get comfortable with sales conversations.


How the program works


weekly group training calls

We'll have weekly live group training calls by teleconference line. Training calls are a combination of topic content, discussion, Q&A, and coaching. All you need is a phone (the calls are regular long-distance calls) or internet access and you're good to go.

Call Time:

  • 1-2 p.m. Eastern (calls are 60 minutes)

Audio recordings

Group training calls will be recorded and you will receive the online and MP3 audio links for the recordings via email within 24 hours of the teleconference calls.

You can either listen to the recording online or you can download the MP3 file to listen on your iPod or other MP3 player.

You will also be building your own library of resources; you can re-use the audios over and over for additional benefits each time you listen and use with your own specific circumstances.
