A dream come true!
For a decade, I had a yearning to live tiny and travel around the United States for a year.
On July 15, 2016 that dream came true.
I got rid of almost all of my stuff, and moved into this Airstream Flying Cloud 25FB Twin... my baby. I LOVE this trailer!
Yep. I run my entire business and have written two #1 international Amazon bestselling books from this tiny space.
love my tiny kitchen
My tiny kitchen has everything I need.
I have a convection microwave, a 3-burner gas stovetop, a huge round sink, and most of my kitchen storage on this side.
The refrigerator and freezer (opposite wall) actually works better for me than any of my full-size units in the past. The beauty of an Airstream fridge is that they aren't very deep, so there's no "shoved in the back" stuff. You can see everything right up front.
I added the SmartOven (sitting on top of the stovetop burner lid), Vitamix (I now store it underneath my sofa), and an InstantPot (by far, my most used kitchen appliance).
My Dining Room / Living Room
My table is a workhorse.
It's where I eat.
It's where I set up my laptop when I'm working.
I can even flip down the table and make a huge lounge in that whole area.
Airstream Office Mode
Here's my office set-up while I stayed in Chassahowitzka, Florida. Notice the great foliage right outside my window!
I feel like I sleep in a treehouse
My Airstream model is called a front bed twin, which means the bedroom is in the front of the trailer and it has twin beds (obvious, right?)
I got the twins for two reasons:
- there's a "hallway" in between the beds, and one of my dogs loves to play fetch. The hallway means we have the longest possible runway to play fetch.
- there's a lot more storage with this model... under each bed, above the beds, etc.
