"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication."
I think I have Leonardo DaVinci on the brain today...I re-read "The DaVinci Code" over the weekend. I love that book, especially all the art history and architecture!
I also love DaVinci's quotation about simplicity being the ultimate sophistication.
What does that mean to you?
What does "sophisticated simplicity" look like?
What does it sound like?
What does it feel like?
If you could create sophisticated simplicity in your life, what would you change, if anything? Would you add anything? Subtract anything?
To me it means surrounding myself with only those things that bring me joy and letting go of all the rest. It's surprising how few things end up staying...and how happy I am with them.
It means choosing only the activities and my hobbies that truly delight me, and keeping them to a minimum.
When I start feeling overwhelmed, I know I have too much on my plate...even if it's all stuff I think I really want to do.
It means checking in with my higher guidance about what to do and when to do it (life is so much easier this way!)
Your version of sophisticated simplicity might look very different...and yet fit you to perfection.
Sounds lovely, doesn't it?
I invite you to explore the idea...let your subconscious explore it, too...and see what shows up!
